Phos-Lite ™

Phos‑Lite uses a natural mineral-based adsorption media to capture and bind phosphorus molecules from treated effluent. Wastewater enters a primary compartment where solids settle, before passing through the mineral media that binds phosphorus, achieving effluent phosphorus levels as low as 0.2 mg/l. The system operates with minimal energy via a small external air blower and can be retrofitted to existing plants or integrated with a Marsh Nutra‑Lite system. Media is long-lasting and can be refreshed after several years.

Phos‑Lite delivers sustainable phosphorus removal without chemicals or dosing systems. It improves effluent quality by reducing COD, BOD and suspended solids. The modular design treats up to 35 PE and is scalable for larger sites. Low energy consumption (~0.03 kWh/day) and minimal maintenance keep running costs low. Phos‑Lite ensures compliance with strict discharge standards and integrates seamlessly with Marsh Nutra‑Lite for nutrient neutrality. The system comes with a long-term structural guarantee.

Phos-Lite™ is available in 8 sizes from PL4 (4PE) to PL25 (25PE), with modular design allowing treatment up to 35PE. All models feature GRP construction with 25-year structural warranty. Dimensions vary by model: PL4-PL10 use 1200mm diameter, PL12-PL25 use 1500mm diameter. Heights range from 1865mm (PL4-PL6) to 2284mm (PL12-PL16). Standard inlet and outlet diameters are 110mm. Power requirement is 0.03 kWh/day via external air blower. Certified by PIA GmbH to achieve phosphate levels of 0.2mg/l. Suitable for both drainage field and surface water discharge.
